Rosehip Oil - Review

Let’s start with the essentials. When you want to apply something on your face, obviously, you need to identify what type a skin you have. You most probably know that it can be dry, combination or oily, so I will not stress on this any further.

To give you an idea, my skin type is combination and quite sensitive (neither oily, neither dry), also acne prone if I drink milk or too much chocolate :). These being said, it was very difficult to keep it balanced, until of course I found this little wonder called RoseHip Oil. Although, it is said oily and combination skin ages later in time (a sort of gift you are born with), I would say the major problem is, they usually manufacture cosmetics for dry skin, thus I have found it difficult to find the best products considering the fact that I am always aiming for less to no chemicals as much as possible. The reason why this is exclusively Organic Cold Pressed RoseHip Oil , 100% pure straight from the berries.

I have tried the oil make up remover technique with coconut oil, nope, not for me, too oily for my face. I have also tried almond oil, because it belongs to the category of non comedogenic (it will not block pores), not a chance for my skin to make peace with it either.  Next, I have started to research and research and research, found the RoseHip Oil and decided to give it a shot, there is no harm in trying. And ZBANG, I have found my fountain of youth. Pam, Pam! One happy girl here.

Now a little bit about what to expect. If you have high expectations, you are reading the right testimonial, this is the best product you can try. You may say, oh, she says this because she is selling it as well. The thing is, I only sell something I truly believe in. I cannot sell just to sell for the sake of money, I would not bother to invest time, effort, passion and money otherwise. I am not exaggerating. To be honest, I have tried a lot of products, but nothing compares to this one. And when you come to think about it, it is just an oil, no fuss, no chemicals, natural, cheap and with wonderful results.  I apply about 3 drops each evening before sleep after cleaning my face with a makeup remover (of which I must further refer in my posts, a super one). It is more like an antioxidant serum than an oil.

RoseHip Oil, might be an oil but it absorbs perfectly in the skin, it is surprisingly lightweight and keeps your wrinkles at bay. In the morning I have the skin of a baby, I am not joking. You must try it, you must! You will not regret it. All natural Organic Cold Pressed Rosehip Oil , perfect for your daily skin care routine and most importantly, suitable for ALL skin types.

And, I almost forgot, it lasts for ages, I have used it for a month now and I still have 70% oil from my 10ml bottle. Well worth every penny!

P.S: Please, Please, do not forget to write back your feedback after using it, I am extremely curious to know how your skin reacted.

Stars who use RoseHip oil

The main aspect of this post is the fact that Organic Rosehip Oil is not a secret, it is a gift straight from nature. I consider, these days, we have lost the connection with nature more than ever. In my opinion, we, as human beings, will always feel best when we reconnect with the nature, when we stop using unnecessary artificial products on our skin, really expensive ones, without thinking the alternative is just there, cheaper and with best benefits, from NATURE to YOU. As simple as that.

Now, when it comes to celebrities, I am not saying I do not admire them, however, I am not the type who copies, that is for sure. This time, I am mentioning a few, just because I am very thrilled with this oil and I want to emphasize that I am not the only one. There are people out there who enjoy its wonderful benefits, hopefully you will be one of them as wellJ .

Miranda Kerr (model), Kate Middleton (Princess), Gwyneth Paltrow (actress) and David Gandy (model), have revealed they use Organic RoseHip Oil on a daily basis. Now, it makes you think what do they have in common, except that they are famous, well, I would say, the beauty. The glow on Kate’s skin or the forever young face of Miranda, isn’t that something anyone would dream of? It most certainly is.

I will tell you a secret though, I did not even know these celebrities use the oil, I have found out after I was already using it. Anyway, you do not have to believe me, I encourage you to try it, to see it with your own eyes.

What is not to love?

RoseHip Oil benefits

RoseHip Oil  benefits were quite recently discovered, in 1983, by a group of researchers from University of Concepcion (Chile).

To name just a few most important elements, 100% pure Rosehip Oil is composed of: vitamin E, vitamin C, vitamin A (B-carotene) Omega-3 (linolenic acid), omega-6 (linoleic acid), omega-9 (oleic acid).

Due to its high concentration of vitamin C, RoseHip oil is a strong antioxidant that helps protect the skin against UV and evens the skin tone offering a radiant healthy look after application.

Vitamin E has beneficial properties against free radicals hydrating the skin and making it look smoother and younger.

Vitamin A is responsible for enhancing the skin collagen level eliminating fine lines caused by exposure to UV radiation.

Omega-3 (linolenic acid), omega-6 (linoleic acid), omega-9 (oleic acid) have vital anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties.  These acids are absorbed well into the skin keeping it soft and fight against free radicals on the skin surface.

In 1988 Dr Bertha Pareja (Principal Professor at Univeristy of San Marcos, Peru) together with Dr Horst Kehl (Professor at Univeristy of Missouri,USA) have published a researched named "Contributions to Identification and Application of Active Components Contained in Rosa Aff. Rubiginosa"

During this study, the rosehip oil was applied to 180 people with skin issues such as, burn scars, traumatic wounds or skin ageing. According to this study, the results were fantastic. After 2 years of daily application, the sings of skin recovering were perfectly visible. The skin regained the natural tone, the fine lines were diminished.  The 2 doctors, mentioned above, believe that “trans-retionic acid” (vitamin A) from within the rosehip oil, is the element that majorly contributed to these positive results.

Now, I would like to express my opinion as a rosehip oil user for about 2 weeks. The results are thrilling of course otherwise this blog wouldn't even exist :). I am completely happy with the glow that my skin has in the morning and I totally recommend it for all skin types. You may read my whole testimonial and tricks on how to apply it for best results, here.

What is RoseHip

Rosehip is a well-known (hmm, or not?!) wild rose that I remember from childhood when I used to pick its fruits with my mother as she loved to make rosehip jam (my mother still does it, by the way, it is delicious on pancakes, YUMMY! :D). However, this blog is dedicated to Organic Rosehip Oil (ati-ageing product), nevertheless, I might consider introduce the jam as well, in time, one thing I know, my mother would be thrilled about. J

Next, it grows on hills in the bushes and it also has thorns, making the picking more difficult but, I am telling you, definitely worthy. As a child I was delighted by its sweet-sour-ish taste (of jam), but as an adult, I discovered its amazing benefits on the skin and I am grateful I had the chance to grow up in the country side, close to nature and its miraculous gifts, so many beautiful memories, a time of freedom and pure happiness indeed.

Going back to my subject, the RoseHip, I can say the height of a shrub reaches 1-3 meters, it blooms in June and harvesting takes place in August and September. It grows in Europe, Asia and Africa and its benefits were made known from Antiquity when the fruits and flowers were used for strengthening the immune system.

Curious to see how it works on your skin? No worries, you don’t need to go and pick the fruits yourself, nowadays, a simple click brings the nature's goodies straight in your hands. Super cool J !
